2018年6月12日，美國總統川普（Donald Trump）與朝鮮民主主義人民共和國主席金正恩在新加坡舉行歷史意義重大、首開先例的高峰會議。President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a first, historic summit in Singapore on June 12, 2018.
針對建立美朝兩國新關係以及建立朝鮮半島永久、健全的和平體制，川普總統與金正恩主席進行了全面、深入、真誠的意見交換。川普總統承諾為朝鮮民主主義人民共和國提供安全保障，金正恩主席重申他實現朝鮮半島徹底無核化的堅定承諾。President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
川普總統與金正恩主席深信，美朝新關係的建立將促成朝鮮半島與全世界的和平與繁榮，雙方也認同雙方建立互信能促進朝鮮半島無核化，因此發表以下聲明：Convinced that the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building can promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:
1. 美朝兩國承諾根據兩國人民對和平與繁榮的願望，建立美朝兩國的新關係。1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
2. 美朝兩國將共同努力，建立朝鮮半島永久、穩定的和平體制。2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
3. 重申2018年4月27日的「板門店宣言」，朝鮮民主主義人民共和國致力於實現朝鮮半島徹底無核化。3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
4. 美朝兩國承諾取回戰俘／任務中失蹤者遺骸，包括立即歸還已經確定身分的戰俘／任務中失蹤者遺骸。4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations led by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the U.S.-DPRK summit.
