「感謝」的用法百百種，但可不能亂用喔！
appreciate 為動詞，可以翻譯成「感激；賞識」。當「感激」使用時，中式英文裡常順著中文的邏輯，直接把句子寫成 sb. is appreciated that…，這個句型卻有個致命性的問題，也就是把 appreciate 當成了形容詞使用，而這樣的用法完全錯誤！
appreciate 當成動詞「感激」時可以直接用 appreciate 後面接上要感激的事物，注意感激的對象是事情而非人，例如：appreciate one’s efforts (感謝某人的努力付出)；而將 appreciate 當成「賞識」使用時，後面接人或事物都可以，例如：we appreciate you (我們很賞識你)。
因此如果想要感謝某個人對你做的事情，最簡單也最自然的說法就是使用 thank sb. for sth. 這個句型。輕輕鬆鬆就解決了又想感謝某個對象、又想說明你想感謝什麼的目的啦！
