個人在2018年8月15日曾在聯合報名人堂專欄撰寫一篇名為〈川普執政下的美國KKK政治〉的專文，將這三個比較晦澀的英文單字影射為KKK政治，顯然有美國人也有同樣的看法。
在川普敗選後，緬因州周報《艾爾斯沃茲美國人》The Ellsworth American一封2020年12月8日的讀者投書，說明川普執政時期基本上反映上述KKK政治下的負面情境，特附上這封讀者投書的原文定義：
Kakistocracy: Government run by the worst, least qualified, and/or most unscrupulous citizens.
爛人政治：由最糟、最沒資格或最壞的公民所治理的政府。
Kratocracy: Government by those powerful enough to seize control through force, social persuasion, psychological manipulation, or deceptive cunning.
強人政治：由手中握有足夠力量、或是透過社會遊說、心理的操縱、或是欺騙性的狡猾，拿下掌控權。
Kleptocracy: Government in which officials are politically corrupt and financially self-interested.
盜竊政治：由政治貪腐及只為個人經濟利益為考量的官員所治理的政府。
