Since it's so easy to overspend, I thought I'd share a few helpful tips on how to save money this holiday season.

● overspend 代表花費超支，也就是口語中常說的「爆預算」，在這邊當動詞用，但可也可當名詞，例如 I'm
expecting to have a three thousand dollars overspend this season.（我預估這一季預算會超支三千元。）
Tip number one: If you have a hard time controlling yourself, leave your credit cards at home. Bring someone else's credit cards to the store. Okay? Tip number one.
技巧一：如果你很難控制你自己，將你的信用卡留在家裡。帶別人的信用卡去商店。好嗎？這是第一個技巧。
● Have difficulty /trouble/ a hard time + doing something 都代表「對於做某件事情有困難」。
Tip number two: Stores put their most tempting displays on eye level. That's a little trick. So avoid that and walk in stilts. If you can bring in, like, really tall stilts, make sure there's high ceilings.
技巧二：商店將他們最吸引人的商品擺在眼睛的高度。那是一個小花招。所以避開它，並穿高蹺鞋走路。如果你可以帶進，像是，真的很高的高蹺鞋，確保店裡有很高的天花板。
