很多人都說自己「愛台灣」，愛台灣的方式很多，最好的方式之一便是藉由英語，大肆向外國友人宣揚台灣的美！當然，除了用英文說，最好還可以起而行、帶著外國友人一起趴趴走。今天就讓我們來學學一些熱門台灣小吃的說法，以及如何用英文介紹這些小吃：
好用句型
1. be known for… （以…著稱）
➢ Danshui is known for snacks such as fish balls, fish crisps, fried shrimp rolls, iron eggs and A-ghey.
淡水以魚丸、魚酥、炸蝦捲、鐵蛋、阿給等小吃著稱。
2. stay open until…（營業到…）
➢ This night market stays open until midnight.
這夜市營業到午夜。
3. be listed as…（被列為…）
➢ This temple is more than 300 years old and is listed as a first-grade historical site.
這廟宇有超過三百年的歷史，而且被列為一級古蹟。
4. be a specialty（…是特色）
➢ Fried chicken cutlets and pearl milk tea are Taiwanese specialties.
炸雞排和珍珠奶茶是台灣特色食物。
5. be made of/with…（以…做成）
➢ Oyster omelets are usually made with oysters, eggs, and Chinese cabbage.
蚵仔煎通常是由蚵仔、雞蛋和小白菜做成。
➢ The pepper bun’s filling is made of pork, green onions, pepper and other spices.
胡椒餅的餡料是用豬肉、青蔥及胡椒和其他香料所製成。
6. be voted…（被票選…）
➢ Stinky tofu was voted best night market snack by Taiwanese people last year.
臭豆腐去年被台灣人選為最棒的夜市小吃。
7. a version of…（…一種變體或樣式）/ … Taiwan-style（台灣式的…）
➢ Herbal ribs are Taiwan’s version of “bak kut teh” popular in Malaysia and Singapore.
藥燉排骨就是在馬來西亞和新加坡很受歡迎的肉骨茶的台灣版。
➢ Gua bao is a hamburger, Taiwan-style.
割包是台式的漢堡。
